Application: SK-51 is an aromatic brominated flame retardant that is especially efficient as an additive flame retardant for EPS and in foam polystyrene. The unsaturated end groups provide the unique function of initiating FR performance.
SK-51 is also used at low levels with other flame retardants, such as HBCD to provide a synergistic response to fire tests.
SK-51 has excellent UV stability and styrene solubility for a broad range of uses.
